Welcome to the Los Angeles Area Alumni Association of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America.

The Los Angeles Area Alumni Association began as an interest group with two kick-off events, about a year apart from each other. The first was an initial interest gathering on June 5, 2005 at Canter's Deli, right in the heart of Los Angeles. On September 23, 2006 we had a pizza social at Shakey's, after having sent out a letter of invitation via traditional mail. Since then, we've held three or more events per year, including singing at convalescent homes. Read about what took place at each of our past events.

On August 18, 2008, the Association was chartered by the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.

National news: The national fraternity headquarters has released a 2007-2012 strategic plan. All Sinfonians are encouraged to review this excellent, comprehensive document detailing the newly defined and adopted goals, objectives, and strategies of the fraternity.

Also, it has been announced that the 2009 national convention will be held in Orlando, Florida at the Wyndham Orlando Resort on July 15-19, 2009.
